…ask a busy person to do it. Definitely don’t ask a person who still doesn’t have a job & got an X-Box 360 for X-mas to do it. No, that wouldn’t do at all.
A busy person can turn writing time into relaxation time.
When I have infinite free time, I always seem to find a way to squander it all away.
To a person with infinite free time like me, writing can seem like a chore. Not fun-time.
Maybe I forgot how much fun writing was.
This is important because I am susceptible to failure. I am–and always will be–a human.
You know as well as I do that anyone could fail.
Everyone’s brother wants to write a novel someday, but few actually do it.
Why?
Writing a novel is so hard—So Freaking Hard—that even for the people that it’s their craft; people who intimately know what they’re doing to the point where they have writing novels down to a routine science, can suddenly just … disappear.
Not that I’m disappearing. And not that I’ve got novels down to a science or anything. But gosh, I’m feeling awfully lazy lately.
Or at least I was- Writing is calling me back. And I think it’s no coincidence that it’s doing so not long after this semester of classes got underway.
I’m a (sorta) busy person again.
My apologies, and thanks for checking up on me. I’m not quite dead…
BTW-> ‘cirellio’ on XBox Live :P
